According to the current Call announcements and planning of the Research and Innovation Foundation, there are currently active calls as well as scheduled calls for proposal submission for the following Programmes that promote Business Innovation.
The 2nd Call for proposal submission for the Subsidy Scheme for the Digital Upgrade of Businesses was moved earlier, to January 2023, due to the huge interest for the 1st Call which took place on November 8th 2022.
The budget of the 2nd Call for proposals will amount to € 10 million with the possibility of submitting proposals for €14 million, so that if savings occur the runner-up proposals will have the opportunity to benefit. The funding will come from the Cyprus Recovery and Resilience Plan.

The Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry announced approval by the Council of Ministers of the Subsidy Scheme for the Development, Modernization and Digital Upgrade of Manufacturing/ Processing Units and/ or Trading of agricultural products. The total amount to be allocated to the needs of the Call amounts to €25 million.
On Tuesday, December 14th 2021, the Foundation for Research and Innovation announced Call for proposals for Three Innovation Subsidy Programmes, totalling € 13 million, for the development of innovation activities, by Cypriot enterprises, with the potential to penetrate international markets.
On May 13th 2021, the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, announced the 2021 Call for submission of applications under the Subsidy Scheme for the Support of New Entrepreneurship.
Applications can be submitted from May 17th until December 30th 2021.
