Secondary Research is conducted by gathering and analyzing data collected as part of a previous primary research study or data collected by the client in the context of commercial operations or by various government agencies.
Examples of data employed in secondary research:
- Internal Customer satisfaction surveys
- National statistics gathered from governmental sources on the demographic profile of the population
- Customer profile from internal data (e.g. from membership cards, data from Customer Relationship Management (CRM) databases)
