According to Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry (MECI), a new call for proposals submission is being scheduled for the Subsidy Scheme for the Digital Upgrade of Businesses.
On Wednesday May 20th 2026, the Foundation for Research and Innovation launched Call for proposals for the PRE-SEED Innovation Subsidy Programme, for the development of innovation activities, by Cypriot enterprises, with the potential to penetrate international markets.
The Research and Innovation Foundation, currently runs calls for proposal submission for the following Programmes that promote Business Innovation.

Below you can find detailed information on the following Programmes CREATION AND INITIAL DEVELOPMENT OF STARTUPs WITH INTERNATIONAL ORIENTATION PRE-SEED, PROOF OF CONCEPT FOR TECHNOLOGY/ KNOW HOW APPLICATIONS, RESEARCH IN ENTERPRISES, και Enhancing Cybersecurity in Small and Medium Cypriot Enterprises, which relate to Entrepreneurship and/ or the promotion of Business Innovation.
