A new Call is expected for the submission of applications for the Subsidy Scheme for the Support of New Entrepreneurship Activity.
The call is expected to be launched for applications submission during early 2024.

According to the latest previous Call for the Subsidy Scheme (It is noted that there may be changes between Calls.):
“The Subsidy Scheme aims to develop, support and promote entrepreneurship, placing emphasis on special population groups such as young people and women who wish to start their business in any economic activity, with the exception of those mentioned in the Implementation Guides, utilising their knowledge, experience, training and talents.
Beneficiaries:
- Young persons, men and women who live legally, for the last six months, in areas where exclusive control is practiced by the Republic of Cyprus and have free access to work.
- Unemployed or employees
- Young men and women of ages 18-29, men ages 30-50 and women ages 30-55
- They did not practice business activity in the last six months before submitting their application, that is, they were not self-employed or involved in an active business with participation exceeding 25%.
- The subsidy intensity is 70% for young people aged 18-29 while for men aged 30-50 and women aged 30-55 the subsidy intensity will be 60%. The subsidy intensity is calculated on the cost of the eligible expenditures of the investment (equipment, buildings-purchase, buildings-development, buildings-renovation, advertising-promotion) with a maximum eligible budget per business of €120,000 for business activities in the Manufacturing, Services, e -commerce and Tourism Sectors.”
