The 2nd Call for proposal submission for the Subsidy Scheme for the Digital Upgrade of Businesses was moved earlier, to January 2023, due to the huge interest for the 1st Call which took place on November 8th 2022.
The budget of the 2nd Call for proposals will amount to € 10 million with the possibility of submitting proposals for €14 million, so that if savings occur the runner-up proposals will have the opportunity to benefit. The funding will come from the Cyprus Recovery and Resilience Plan.

According to the relevant announcement by the Ministry, for the 1st Call for proposals, for which the commencement of application submission started on November 8, 2022 at 9:00 in the morning and ended a few hours later due to the exhaustion of the available budget of € 10 million:
• 365 applications were submitted, from existing and new businesses.
• The average investment amounted to € 55,000 with a subsidy intensity of 50%
