Purpose

The plan aims to provide financial incentives in the form of governmental grants for investment in the production of electricity by harnessing wind, solar energy, biomass and biogas emitted from landfill.

The scheme covers investments related to the purchase and installation of new equipment/materials.

All investments should be made with purchase and installation of new equipment and materials and should involve the implementation of mature technologies, not technologies that are in Research & Development phase.
