Purpose

The subsidy plan aims to provide financial incentives in the form of Government subsidy and/ or funding and/ or special sponsorship that will lead to investments that will encourage/ promote the use of renewable energy sources and energy saving.

The plan covers, exclusively, investments implemented in the absence of national or EU standards.

The scheme covers investments related to the purchase and installation of new equipment/materials. It also covers the cost of studies in case they are considered necessary.

Any investment, within the context of the Subsidy Scheme, should be in mature technologies, not in technologies that are in Research & Development phase.
