PURPOSE
The Scheme concerns the provision of financial assistance to natural or legal persons who carry out, or intend to carry out, economic activity, and who are owners or tenants of buildings (with the certified signed consent of the owners), or lessees of Turkish Cypriot (T/C) property (with the signed consent of the Guardian of T/C Properties – District Officer of Nicosia), for the purpose of strengthening business activity in the areas where the Scheme applies.

The Scheme falls within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding for the Redevelopment and Revitalisation of the Walled City of Nicosia.
